The “=” symbol had been given in order to create a poster for the 2022 Ascenders New York Exhibition. In the process of designing the poster, various iterations of the symbol were explored. The poster shown is the final result, which focuses on the calm state of mind represented through equilibrium. An orange and blue complimentary colour palette is being used to add some interest. The typeface Cochin has a sense of sophistication, and has been used to further enhance the polished appearance of the illustration.
