“DIA-BUDDY” is a food logging app created to improve the everyday lives of individuals, specifically children, newly diagnosed with diabetes. This product is intended for an audience of children and parents of said children wanting improvement in the management of their condition and a way of relieving the stress of everyday diabetes management. The design of the app was carefully tailored to appeal to a child audience, with a focus on creating an engaging and user-friendly experience. The choice of a pink and green colour palette (a vibrant and playful colour combination), along with a simple layout and vector illustrations, was central to achieving this goal.
